The UTN has invited members of the Board of Education, Central Administration and PTA Council to join the leadership team at Public Education at the Crossroads, a symposium of educators, administrators and community members who will discuss the impact of the New York State Tax Cap, its implications and ways to reduce its terrible toll on Long Island school districts. In addition to members of the various constituency groups, those in attendance will hear the inspiring thoughts of the “Most influential educator in America,” Diane Ravitch.
A limited number of tickets for the event are available through the UTN Office. If you are interested in joining us on Wednesday, May 1st from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Crest Hollow Country Club, please call the UTN Office at 261-2000. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
