As we approach the upcoming school district vote, we want to take a moment to share our official endorsement for the Northport-East Northport Board of Education and encourage all members to participate in this important decision.

We are proud to endorse Mark Zaharis for the Board of Education.

Mark is a dedicated member of our community with a long history of involvement and service. He has been a resident of the Northport-East Northport School District for 24 years and is the parent of two successful graduates of Northport High School. His commitment to youth development is evident through his work as a volunteer coach for both youth and travel soccer programs.

In addition, Mark has been actively involved in our school community as a longtime member of the PTA at Bellerose, East Northport Middle, and Northport High School. He has also contributed his time to the Northport Community Theatre as a theatre parent.

Beyond the school district, Mark continues to give back through volunteer work with Hope for the Future food kitchen program in Farmingdale. His record reflects a strong commitment to service, community engagement, and supporting families.

We believe Mark Zaharis will bring thoughtful leadership, experience, and dedication to the Board of Education.

We also strongly encourage all eligible members to vote YES on the school budget. Supporting the budget ensures continued investment in our students, programs, and the overall quality of education in our district.
