On Friday, the East Northport Middle School family lost a dear friend, colleague and teacher. This morning, Saturday, we woke up to see that Tim Green, an author who visited our school last week, had included her name in a contest to become a character in his next young adult novel. This is a chance to have Leslie’s name memorialized forever.
