On Tuesday, June 17th, approximately 200 UTN members participated in a “Unity Walk” in front of the Laurel Avenue School prior to, and during, the Board Teacher Relations Meeting (see below for details on the meeting). On that June evening, members, many walking with their own children, demonstrated solidarity and sent a clear message to the Board and administration that, “We are one,” and that the officers and negotiators of the UTN speak with one voice, the voice of the membership!
