UPDATE # 22

The UTN Negotiations Team met with District representative Kathleen Molander, as well as Board Counsel John Gross and Associate Regina Cafarella, for nearly three hours, on the evening of Wednesday, June 1st, along with Mediator Professor Robert Simmelkjaer.
Counsel for the District initially remained fixed on the hard-line offer. After intensive questioning by union representatives and the mediator, some progress was made. Despite this minimal movement, some major key issues remain.
The next session has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 29th. Additional solidarity events are currently being planned and information is forthcoming.
